This is a great game to emphasize "Long Range Shooting". Make two teams of four players, a striker and 3 defenders on each team. 3 defenders and a striker are positioned (and restricted too) each half of the field. The game starts with the goalkeeper playing the ball out to any of the three defenders. Players love this game.

USA 2v1 Shooting Game

This is a shooting drill all players love to do. Divide your group into 2 teams. One team in the middle, the second team split into 2 groups out wide. The middle player attacks the goal "unopposed" and tries to score. Immediately after he shoots he has to defend the 2 attacking players in a 2v1 situation.
